A backup Mobile Power Station Dispatching for cyber attack scenarios was commissioned by a customer to be manufactured by us. Initially, two dispatching centers were established with a contingency plan where one would seamlessly take over if the other became unavailable. A system was equipped where critical information about other centers was stored by this dispatching center as a backup, managed by one-way firewalls with predefined timestamps. This setup allowed switching to the latest backup and continued management of power plants in the event of a cyber security attack that disabled the primary dispatching centers.
This backup center offers the following advantages:
- Ensuring continuous control over power plants during cyber attacks, preventing major disruptions.
- The mobile dispatching center can access the network independently of location, reducing reliance on specific geographical positions.
