During natural disasters such as floods and storms, the infrastructure of fiber optics and communication cables in an area can be disrupted. A telecommunication company encountered this challenge and requested our assistance in equipping a vehicle, Communication Van, to address this issue.
To fulfill this requirement, a van was outfitted with point-to-point radio communication layers capable of covering distances up to 35 kilometers. These communication layers encompassed fiber optics, analog communication networks, cable networks, and Wi-Fi network sections.
This vehicle effectively addressed the following issues:
- In the event of complete communication loss within an affected area, the vehicle could establish communication up to 35 kilometers away using point-to-point antennas, thereby restoring lost coverage.
- It provided adequate workspace for two operators along with heating and cooling facilities.
